WHY FORKLIFT LOAD TESTING IS IMPORTANT
Retrolex Forklifts offers forklift load testing performance tests and certification throughout South Africa, in compliance with the Driven Machinery Regulation 18 of the Occupational Health & Safety Act (Act 85 of 1993).
It is a requirement by law that all forklifts are subject to a load performance test.
- All Forklifts must be Load Tested and Inspected every 12 Months in terms of the above legislation
- These Load tests must be carried out by an accredited and Certified load testing specialist, who will issue a certificate on completion of the test
- Any items deemed to be unsafe will have to be replaced, or repaired before the certificate is issued
- Compliance with this procedure will ensure SAFE AND RELIABLE OPERATION OF YOUR FORKLIFTS
